Affiliate Program Terms

GiftWeGo Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions — rules, commissions, partner obligations

Previous version of the Affiliate Program Terms, effective until 14 October 2026. Current version

Last updated: 13 October 2026

1. Introduction

1.1 Parties

These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") govern the relationship between:

  • Operator: Ondřej Smutný, ID: 75343533, Libichov 73, 294 42 Dobrovice, Czech Republic (hereinafter "GiftWeGo", "Operator" or "we")
  • Affiliate Partner: Any individual or entity registered in the GiftWeGo Affiliate Program (hereinafter "Partner" or "you")

1.2 Purpose

The GiftWeGo Affiliate Program allows Partners to promote GiftWeGo services through unique referral links and earn commissions on qualifying purchases made by referred customers.

1.3 Acceptance

By registering for the Affiliate Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, do not register.

2. Registration and Approval

2.1 Application

Registration requires:

  • A valid GiftWeGo user account
  • A completed application form with truthful and complete information
  • Approval by the Operator

2.2 Approval Process

  • Each application is reviewed individually and at the sole discretion of the Operator.
  • The Operator reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.
  • There is no legal entitlement to acceptance into the Affiliate Program.

2.3 Referral Code

Upon approval, Partner will receive an automatically generated unique referral code. This code is non-transferable and serves to identify commissions attributable to the Partner.

3. Commissions and Payment

3.1 What Earns a Commission and Commission Rates

From the launch of the GiftWeGo Plus subscription for all users (13 October 2026), commissions are earned exclusively on payments for the GiftWeGo Plus subscription ("Plus") made by a customer referred by the Partner (Section 3.3). Other GiftWeGo products and services (credits, gift vouchers, Cloud subscription, business code generation, business template activation and others) do not earn commissions.

Customer's Plus payment Commission
First yearly payment 30 %
Renewal after the first year (2nd payment) 10 %
Renewal after the second year (3rd payment) 10 %
Further renewals no commission

A commission is therefore earned on at most three payments of one customer: the first yearly payment and the renewals taking place within two years of the first payment (with a 31-day tolerance for a renewal paid late). If the customer takes out a new Plus subscription within this period (e.g. after cancelling), its payment is treated as a renewal.

The commission base is the amount the customer actually paid for the respective Plus payment (after any discount, e.g. from a promo code). The Operator is not registered for VAT, so the Plus price contains no VAT and the base is not reduced by VAT; payment gateway fees are not deducted from the base. Commissions are recorded in the currency of the payment (CZK, EUR or USD).

In particular, no commission is earned:

  • on a payment the customer did not pay (e.g. a 100% discount), or on Plus provided by the Operator free of charge or manually,
  • on Plus provided as part of a business (Premium) subscription, or on a subscription converted from an earlier Cloud or Premium subscription,
  • on payments by the Partner themselves or by persons acting for the Partner's benefit (self-referral, Section 4.2 item 9).

3.2 Rate Changes

The Operator reserves the right to change commission rates. Changes apply to payments made after the effective date; commissions already earned remain unaffected. Partners may be granted an individual commission rate different from the default.

3.3 Attribution – Assigning a Customer to the Partner

  • After a click on a referral link, an HttpOnly tracking cookie gw_ref valid for 30 days is stored in the visitor's browser (first-click attribution – the first click decides; further clicks do not change the assignment) – only if the visitor has consented to marketing cookies in the cookie banner (also later during the same visit).
  • If the visitor signs up while the cookie is valid, their user account is assigned to the Partner permanently. A commission on their Plus payments is earned even if they buy Plus later.
  • An existing user (account created before the click) who signs in while the cookie is valid is assigned to the Partner only for a Plus purchase made within 30 days of the click.
  • Renewal commissions belong to the Partner who received the commission on that customer's first payment.
  • Storing and reading the tracking cookie requires the visitor's consent under Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), implemented in Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on Electronic Communications. Without consent, nothing is stored on the visitor's device and the referral code is carried only in the page address for the duration of the visit: if the visitor signs up (signs in) during the same visit, their account is assigned to the Partner under the rules above; otherwise no assignment takes place and no commission is earned. If the visitor withdraws consent, the cookie is deleted. The Partner acknowledges that for this reason not every conversion may be captured, that the Operator may not track without the visitor's consent, and that the Partner must not pressure visitors into consenting or circumvent the cookie banner.
  • The Partner is responsible for the correct use of referral links. The Operator is not responsible for technical issues on the Partner's side.

3.4 Lockdown Period, Withdrawal and Refunds

Each commission is subject to a 30-day lockdown period from the payment date. During this period the commission is "pending" and cannot be paid out, and the Operator may reject it for reasons outlined in Section 5.

If the customer withdraws from the Plus contract (consumers within 14 days) or the Operator refunds a payment in full or in part, the commission is reduced proportionally to the refunded part of the payment; if the whole payment is refunded, the commission lapses. This also applies after the lockdown period. If the affected commission has already been paid out, the Operator will offset the difference against the Partner's future commissions or ask the Partner to return it.

3.5 Minimum Payout

Payout is available upon reaching a minimum balance in the respective currency: 500 CZK, $20 USD, or €20 EUR.

3.6 Payout Method

Payouts are made via bank transfer or through a payment service (e.g., Wise, Revolut) based on details provided by the Partner in their affiliate account settings. Commissions are recorded in the currency in which the customer made the purchase (CZK, EUR, or USD). The specific payout method is handled individually.

The Partner is responsible for the accuracy of the provided payment details.

3.7 Transfer Fees

All fees associated with the payout transfer are borne by the Partner. These include but are not limited to:

  • Bank transfer fees (domestic and international)
  • Currency conversion fees (exchange rates)
  • Payment service fees (Wise, Revolut, etc.)
  • Recipient bank fees

These fees are determined and charged by the respective financial institutions, not by the Operator. GiftWeGo has no control over and bears no responsibility for these fees.

The amount displayed in the affiliate dashboard represents the gross commission amount in the purchase currency (CZK, EUR, or USD). The actual amount credited to the Partner's account may be lower due to the aforementioned transfer and currency conversion fees. GiftWeGo does not guarantee any specific exchange rate or third-party fee amounts.

3.8 Payout Processing

  • Payouts are processed manually and typically within 30 business days of an approved payout request.
  • The Operator reserves the right to withhold, delay, or decline any payout in cases of suspected violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other unauthorized conduct, at the Operator's sole discretion.
  • The Operator is not obligated to pay commissions where there is any suspicion of improper conduct, even without proof of such conduct.

3.9 Cancellation by the Customer and End of the Partnership

  • If the customer cancels the Plus subscription, commissions on payments already made remain (subject to Section 3.4); no commission is earned on renewals that no longer take place. The same applies if a renewal payment cannot be collected.
  • If the Partner leaves the program, or the Partner's account is suspended or the partnership is terminated (Section 6), no commission is earned on payments made after that day.

3.10 Transitional Provisions

  • This version of Section 3 is effective from the launch of GiftWeGo Plus (13 October 2026). Until that day, the previous version applies (commissions on credits, gift vouchers, Cloud subscription, business codes and templates).
  • Commissions earned before the launch of GiftWeGo Plus remain in their current state (pending, approved and paid). They are approved, paid out and, if applicable, voided (refunds) under the previous rules; the lockdown period, minimum payout and payout method do not change. They are added to the balance together with Plus commissions.
  • Payments made from the launch of GiftWeGo Plus earn commissions only under Section 3.1.
